  • What You'll Need

    • Coffee Pot
    • Coffee Pot Filters
    • Burr Grinder/Hand Grinder

    (For Accurate Grind Size.)

    • Coffee Beans or Grounds
    • Filtered Water

  • Instructions

    1. Add Water to Coffee Pot.
    2. Grind Coffee to a Coarseness Resembling Sea Salt.
    3. Place a Filter in the Coffee Pot/Double the Filter if Needed.
    4. Add the Ground Coffee to the Filter, and Gently Tap it to Level the Surface of the Grounds.
    5. Properly Seal Coffee Pot, and Press Brew.
  • Measurements

    Coffee to Water Ratio.

    The traditional ratio for brewing coffee is 1 tablespoon of ground coffee per 6 ounces (1cup) of water.

    ( 6-ounce measure is equivalent to one “cup” in a standard coffeemaker.)

    • 1 Cup (8oz) Water - 1tbsp Coffee Grounds.
    • 2 Cups (16oz) Water - 2tbsp Coffee Grounds.
    • 3 Cups (24oz) Water - 3tbsp Coffee Grounds.
    • 4 Cups (32oz) Water - 4tbsp Coffee Grounds.
    • 5 Cups (40oz) Water - 5tbsp Coffee Grounds.
